Just started playing "Batman: Arkham City" and I'm additcted

Do you need to compete the first game to understand this one?

honestly I didn't really care for the batman games that much on first playthrough.

I kind of appreciated them a bit more after watching the three films.

Arkham City throws in lots of characters and while they do have character bio's in the game, it doesn't really introduce them in game.

Because I didn't reach the last part in Asylum.

Great game, almost finish the new game plus to get 100%

i finished the predator & combat ones with batman and cat woman i only got robin & night wing left

Arkham City takes place a year and a half after then end of Arkham Asylum ... it fleshes out the story some more if you've played the first one.
