I'll get to that harley DLC when I complete the story mode again. I feel like I won't complete it quickly this time though with the MASSIVE sprawling city full of dumb goons. I love just flying down the streets and beating the sh1t out of these clowns with nothing but painful critical strikes. Ahh!

You need to pop in Arkham City again. AC's combat was the SAME, it wasn't any different. Only thing new was a few new takedown moves and better sound effects. I played Arkham Asylum a week ago before playing this and AC improved on the combat a lot. It's much smoother.

but in AA you could choose which bad guy to swing at, but in AC you had to press the hit button so I'd always have the wrong clown targeted

I'm not sure I follow you..

Your talking about when in actual combat?? Whichever direction you press with the hit button is who'll hit. That's the way it was in AA.
There was no "lock on" feature in AA. I'm sure I just beat it last week.

So in AC3you press a direction AND square button to aim? I'll tell the truth I haven't touched it in a few months

Arkham City right? Not AC3 that ain't out yet.

But yea when you press the direction and attack button batman attacks the nearest foe in that direction. The combat in this game feels fukking perfect. I swear everything happens so smoothly it just doesn't make sense.

Even countering feels good. I applaud Rocksteady with the combat system.

To think I once trolled and said UC3 had better combat
