Almost ready trying to get the first shipment soon...
You came up in this thread with a downright STUPID ass suggestion you wouldn’t dare run that by a nonblack man. The mods need to delete your derailment because this was, by far, the dumbest shyt I’ve ever heard. You wasn’t copping anyways, you just in came here and wanting to throw shade at a black man’s creation. I wouldn’t have been so nice, especially since your “critique” comes from a reformed wench. But I digressOkay, nevermind.

She wouldn’t have went this hard if you were a black woman creator. But I’m not gonna derail your thread, this is your moment brehWOW....
No, I came up in here ready to buy something, but I didn't since there weren't any black women. You came up in this thread with a downright STUPID ass suggestion you wouldn’t dare run that by a nonblack man. First... any breh with ambition I always tip my hat to. No joke, keep grinding
I suggest you do more than create a logo and slap your IG name on a bunch of shirts and call it a clothing company.
If Aaron Jackson is a “character” or whatever (I don’t know) build a brand. Show your animations on Twitter. No one is going to want to walk around in a shirt that has your IG name plastered on it like they are your street team promoting you.
However, if you build some type of brand or story, your shyt will sell (the artistry is )
Do something original. Link up with @Blacksands to do some art work or create a Twitter and write “twitter comics” where you tweet out stories and pictures to captivate audiences. Create something on Snapchat... the point is, create a brand or a story or something unique that make people want to invest in your art rather than slapping a logo on a shirt with a big gaudy Instagram tag because I doubt people want to be your walking merch reps.
Dude I've been doing that... I'm actually working on the graphic novel for proof of concept.. the 2nd literary novel which I'm halfway done on. and Aaron Jackson is a character I created. The details are in my sig... Right now It's going slow because money has been tight, but I set up my paypal for the store section on my FB page I'm gonna get a shipment soon and new designs on deck.

I was just offering suggestions from what I saw. I meant no disrespect because I’m always bigging up brehs doing their craft. But I feel sometimes we aren’t honest and creatives need honesty. Everyone says “this shyt is so dope” but that doesn’t translate to the sales because they won’t be honest and tell you what it takes to get them to actually purchase.
I wouldn’t rock a gold foil tee with another persons IG on it. But I would rock something with a fly ass character design if I was captivated by the story. Gain traction, NOTHING speaks like results. Maybe start a podcast where you can do like a weekly audio story and then a YouTube page where you animate the stories. Possibly find art podcasts where you can give interviews and drive interest to your art. Whatever you can do to build a brand, keep doing it. Sky is the limit since you have talent and drive, just need to figure out how to get attention
Damn near looks like a white kid in that print though. Hispanic at best. The character of aaron jackson is not light skinned at all... the original logo due to the inks the artist used... I just ran with it. with each artist's interpretation it comes out different. More or less like artists that draw and ink comic books... In my novel aaron is described as a brown skinned black man. period. Also there are other shirts in the work but it's focused primarily on his adventures since he's the main character why would I put a woman on a shirt just to include a woman on the shirt?!?
