It was kinda devestating at times and pretty powerful overall. Extremely likeable cast.
Don't think I ever wanna see it again though as someone who grew up Catholic.
I think it def has a shot at best picture

I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a expertly made procedural, but it never really took the leap to GREAT that I was hoping for me.
Maybe more about the relationship between Pfieffer and her grandma....or some other surrogate character for Catholics who weren't involved in the scandal.

Was it better than Creed?
Michael Keaton just won Best Actor at the NYFCC. But he's supposedly more supporting. Or at least thats what he'll campaign for at the Oscars.
Crees is more entertaining than spotlight but maybe not as good.
The whole cast should be up for supporting. Don't the globes do an ensemble award?
