Just saw Mad Max and it should've been called Mad Furiosa instead.

I think the story was trying to portay Max as a loner who tries to live his life as normal as possible but always gets caught up in some fukkery caused by others

I haven't seen the other movies, but I figured that this was your typical franchise reeboot origin. When I say I don't understand what you guys see I'm referring to not sure why action is enough for this movie to be classic or legendary when it fails to do anything else.

Mad Max movies have never been about dialog and subplots, the others place you in a wasteland with little backstory on how the world is like that. This wasn't a reboot, this was just more of Max wandering the wasteland with no real destination.

Watch the originals, they are good the only thing is the first one is completely different from the other 2 and even then when the 2nd starts you're kind of like "How'd this happen?".

Agree with OP, not sure what you neantherdals see in this movie. Action is top notch but it is focused more on Charlize Heroin character than actual Mad max. Movie literally offers no story or plot , it's just a big long chase scene with most of the movie taking place in or on cars. Movie was mediocre and not sure why It's so Universally loved. There is no back story or understanding of anything, maybe they just expect you to accept how the world became a big ass sand land and how one man controls the water and etc....

They don't survive if not for Mr. Rockatansky bruh.
