kobe never played in the p*ssy ass east. that 4 straight finals woulda meant something if it was out west.

kobe had 3 great playoff runs. 2008-2010 he put up 30/6/6 each run and made the finally all 3 times. thats all after the age of 30.

when kobe was bron's age on the heat, he was droppin 81 on the raptors. he unfortunately didn't have a d-wade or bosh on his team at that time.

East has had better perimeter defenders though. West was better because of bigs, not guards.

its funny how everything i said over the last year is coming into fruition right now. i said bron would have a iverson-esque decline once his athleticism faded. however, even i didn't think it would start this soon.

my projections were that bron would be outta the league by 35. now i think he'll be lucky to make it to 33 still playing at an all-star level.

Hold on now,him declining doesnt mean he cant put up good numbers, nikka had a terrible game last night and still damn near had a triple double,he still gonna be able to put up solid numbers for years to come

The homie turns 30 tomorrow :wow:. What chances do you guys give him for winning another title?

If he ends his career with only 2 (with wade/bosh :umad:) he'll barley crop the top 10 oat imo.

and bump up Wade a few spots for being the reason he has titles in the 1rd place :troll:

Because Kobe is lighter and more fluid than Lebron like Jordan was.

Lebron in his 20's was the type of Athlete this world has never seen before.

what made lebron great was that he was a battering ram that drove into the paint and either sucked the whole defense in for his teammates to get open shots or finishing over contact. without the explosiveness to finish at the rim anymore, he is no longer the mismatch he used to be. he doesn't have the footwork or technical ability to dominate from the mid-range the way kobe and mike did in their later years.

i've compared the end of bron's career to iverson before, however, now that i think about it i think Shaq is a better comparison. cause thats how bron dominated the game from the perimeter. through sheer force like shaq. once shaq lost his explosiveness, he lost what made him special and quickly became mediocre. i see the same for bron as he gets deeper into his 30s.
I get what you're saying but are we are getting into too much hyperbole with this?

This season has been a small sample size & even then in spurts lebron has looked great at times, I'm not ready to put the flat-top on him now until we see what happens in the playoffs. Some see the start of lebron loosing his athleticism, I see it as him not wanting to go 100 this early into the season. We're not even at the all-star break & the team is getting psychoanalyzed.

Lebron had 4 straight intense regular seasons and 4 straight finals appearances. Let him have a down year. He'll be back to MVP form next year. An early playoff exit might help him, honestly. Dude plays tired.

Nah, fukk dat shyt. We bout dat bein superhuman 24/7 life round hea, nikka. :pacspit:

Lebron might be just playing hard enough to make the playoffs for all we know before he turns up.

There is no reason to play hard in the regular season when you're already rich.

Body maintenance is the most important thing in this life.

He still weighs too much to jump like he does.
