I don't own a chronograph.
I kinda want one. But they're pricey and they tend to be thick.
Yeah same. You can get an Omega closer to 8 grand tho that's nice.

It was my initial idea of a watch to myself. My friend is really into chronos...mostly Breitling and Omega. I'd probably want to get a Speedy since my dad loved Omegas quite a bit.

Thanks man. I actually talked to him yesterday and I went today to make the purchase. They rolled out the Japanese Whisky, got into the GS10 club, and also got a Grand Seiko book.

The guy I was talking to was another breh so I wanted to support Black. Also I had good rapport and convo with him.

Glad I got it. I'm actually going to the new Omega shop where I live so I'll be mindful of the limit to 3 rule.
Also was gonna say the reason I bought it was because I turned 40 last year and I was gonna get my own timepiece for myself then I suffered a layoff. This is me getting one for my 40th more or less and something different than my dad's collection that I inherited after he passed.

Hit up the Omega boutique near me that just opened up. I tried on the Aqua Terra which is nice but too boring for my taste.

I also tried on the Speedys and wanted to verify if a 42mm dial would be best for me considering I have small wrists. Definitely on my list now but I want a white :mjpls: or Panda dial.

Rocking a Black dial Seamaster today.

if you not gettin the 42...the newest Speedy is gorgeous. It's a bit smaller at 40mm (39.7)

Manual Wind! All that money and you gotta stay winding that joint? They're too good for an automatic movement? Heritage, Schmeritage!

I like this more on a bracelet btw these two pics. I think it could also be the color of the strap.
Just an option. I see this more of a spring strap, but it was on a Black Friday sale so I copped it. Will probably put the bracelet back on it for the winter.

The thing I love about straps is you can fit them to other watches. So even if I don't like this combination, I'm sure there is something in the collection that this is absolute piff on.
