Decided to order this Hamilton.
I wanted something fairly versatile with a white dial.

Hamilton-Khaki-Navy-Scuba-43mm-White-Silver-Dial-Blue-Ceramic-Bezel-H82505150-hands-on-4.jpg
FYI - I bought the 43mm version of that Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba...which is upgraded in terms of water resistance and I think it's more accurate. But it's larger, and there is only 1 other slot for micro adjustment.

This means I have to go through the pain in the neck of having to remove a link or two.
Not a big deal if you already have the tools to do it, or if you don't mind paying a watch store to do it for you. But I wanted to give the heads up.

Shoutout to @Heafcliffe above if he really got that Tudor Black Bay.
It seems like under $1000, get whatever you want. Once you get into that 2-3k range, you have a tough decision where it's like....do you just save more money and get into Grand Seiko/Omega or not?

Like 1k retail.
750ish on Jomashop.

I did see it on Amazon from a 3rd party seller but I would be very wary of 3rd parties on Amazon.

I'd only get a watch on Amazon if it comes directly from them.

i never really saw the explorer as a dress watch, the 3/6/9, six lines of text, and big noon marker make it pretty busy imho. why not dj again if you miss it? ...or, hear me out, why not move the entire collection for a dd36? :mjlit:
I may have a few options as the father in law is gifting a little wedding care package. I was waiting on Watches and Wonders but Tudor only bought some heat.

A rose gold DD :banderas:

This was interesting but it looks like Caleb Williams has spent way, way too much money on wristwatches for a guy who really hasn't made big time NFL money yet.

Despite what people might think, just because a watch is ultra expensive does not make it an investment piece. When you're paying 50k, 100k+ for a watch, the amount of people who could buy it off you is very few. And it's highly unlikely they're going to knock doors down to get YOUR watch when they have the resources to get anything on the market.

Any brehs got a recommendation under $200, for my cousin’s 16th birthday. He more of a flashy type, was thinking of a gold citizen’s with the green dial. But it was above my price point.

Only watch he’s ever had was an old Apple Watch, and I let him use my garmin fenix for a couple of days.

I was in Switzerland a couple of weeks ago, and meant to buy him a watch over there, but 1) I didn’t plan out my time over there well 2) so when I did finally rush to look for it, it was either to pricey or didn’t look good to me.

....
I like Breitling, and the Royal Oak series from Audemar (but I can't afford them Piguets :to:)

my style in watches are usually big face, and dark-stealthy-sporty looking.

the TW-Steel TW129 is my style 100% and not badd for the price, compared to them $100k Audemars, and it looks just like my favorite, B&R Phantom :ahh:

It's July 2nd....how would i go about getting a JDM model?

The black dial with white/silver hands is tough.
