Las Vegas police arrest woman after watch found hidden inside genitals

A Baltimore woman was again arrested for stealing a watch from a man at a Strip hotel while in town for a hearing on a previous theft incident.

Sarah Richards was arrested on Sunday, December 11, at the Aria Hotel after she allegedly stole a man's Rolex watch after trying to drug him in his hotel room.

Police say Richards tried to leave his room with the watch, but after security was called, they waved her down using their metal detector wand and found the watch in her vaginal area.

She then confessed to having the watch and that they "were going to find it anyways at jail and did not want to go through the hassle."

A female security officer then escorted her to a restroom where she would take it out and put it in a biohazard bag for police.

When police arrived, the man showed them the drink he had been consuming prior to dozing off, and a white powdery substance was seen forming at the bottom of the glass, with floating things inside.

A purple pill capsule with no description and very little white substance was also found in Richard's possession, which Vice Detectives impounded.

According to an arrested report, the woman was in town after she was scheduled to appear in court on Monday, December 12, for a theft incident that happened on June 4 at the Encore Hotel.

In that case, an unidentified man accused Richards of stealing his Patek Philippe watch and also alleged Richards tried to drug him.

Both the man's and Richard's stories were different, but she was still booked for burglary and grand larceny following an investigation.

Court records also showed a prostitution charge added to the incident, which was later dropped.

Richards posted bail on December 11 and is set to appear in court on January 10, 2023.

Thinking about buying my first entry level luxury watch next month. Undecided on buying a Tudor or a Tag Heuer. Any suggestions on which one would be the better option?

Very different watches, how did you settle on these two?

I don't like either but TAG is a hard no for me. It's a quartz movement, dial unecessarily busy and also also F1/Red Bull branding.

And Tudor reminds me of a cheap Omega Constellation and Rolex Day Day. But if those were my two only choices definitely Tudor.

Both watches are within my price range. I like the classic look of the Tudor and I know that Rolex owns the company so I should be getting good quality (Still a long way from getting a Rollie through :mjcry: ).

As for the Tag, I like the design because it has a sporty feel to it and it stands out in its own way. I'm still looking at other stuff and nothing is guarantee yet. Just trying to get a feel of both and ask for a opinion since I'm new with buying higher end watches and wanted to get feedback.

As for the quartz movement, that did kinda turn me off when I was talking to the Tag rep today. If I'm paying a lot of money for a watch, I would rather have something mechanical so that it holds it value over time.

Don't get me wrong I'm not shytting on Tudor :whoa: They've been brining a lot of heat lately with Pelagos and Black Bay lines that have Rolex influence but also their own identity. I just don't see it with the Royal you posted, but that's subjective and just my opinion.

Also Tudor Royal is not really that cheap either. What's your budget?

Tbh id bank the cash and save for the rollie (its what u want anyway it sounds like) and grab a nice auto Tissot or something for the time being.

Tag quartz watches are terrible values for the price Imo and being a Rolex owner I've tried numerous Tudors and they just feel off. Bulky compared to who they are trying to imitate.

Good luck breh!

@OSUBaneBrowns if you really care about that kinda stuff the tag's $2k price tag gets you a $35 movement (allwatchparts.com/Harley-Ronda-5040D-Watch-Movement_p_1448.html), tudor's is off the shelf too but at least they did some work to it. also we might push you away from the tag but i feel like that's still an aspirational brand a lotta non internet watch nerds would be familiar with.
the tudor looks feminine af imho, i'm pronoun gang and would still never rock that :picard:

+1 to saving up for a rolex, with this economy people are gonna empty out their safes and datejusts will be the first to fall below retail

My budget is around 2-3k. I’m still undecided and looking around at other options or to stay put for now. Also, I need to find out how much I need to pay for some dental expenses so I may fall back if this dental work is going to be too high.

Getting the Rollie is a long term goal and something I would try to do when I further along with my career and salary. A part of me is telling myself just stick to the watches that I got now since I don’t really go out that much and neither watch would be a daily wearer, only for special occasions.

I have no issues with quartz watches but if I’m paying a lot of money for a timepiece, I would prefer a mechanical one so I’m having 2nd thoughts on the TAG. The Tudor looks nice to me but at the same time, it’s not a Rolex. It maybe better just to fall back for now or get something much cheaper.
