Good to be here. Short stay though. I was lucky to walk into an AD and find the watch without having to wait. Don’t know if I’m up for all of hassle

I hear u. Waited 6 months for my YM last yr and it wasn't even like I wanted a GMT or Daytona. It does make me smile still everytime I pick it up and throw it on....

Are the OP hard to get? I hear those are usually stocked and the ones when you start getting up there in price are the ones that become harder to get?

I was thinking about an OP for my B day next yr

Where I live in MD the OPs are usually the only ones in the case at the AD especially the smaller ones. It all varies by area.

If you want an OP though and are ok with ur name not being on the actual warranty card the grey market would be fine and you could even get a slight discount off msrp after factoring taxes etc.

Good luck breh.

Saw the GMT in person and the colours were awesome - but the YM is a much more mature design. I won't even attempt to get it though haha

You'll get one by then, just need to time it right.

OP39 in white was tough to get in the past few months, now it will be a little slow as the new models aren't in the system. My AD is the biggest the UK and they only got the 1st one today and only got 1

GrandSeiko is the GOAT watch rn...

I really wan to get an Islander watch but I get :mjpls: vibes from the owner...I don't want to give him my money because of it but the produce seems excellent

I have a Baby Snowflake (the proper one: SJE073) and it’s brilliance is better than anything I got.

The technology in their watches is amazing especially the Spring Drive. But for most people GS name isn’t worth the £$€.

A model will be my next watch when I get to Japan again.

I really like some of Grand Seiko dials and finishing but there's always something off about them. They're too thick, cases look the same, bracelets are pure trash, randomly put a blue stamp on the open case-back :francis:

Which GS are you looking at?

"Hi this is Mawhk" sounds like a Mike Francesa caller but that Yacht-master knockoff looks really nice. Great business move by him after Seiko canceled SKXs :ehh:
