You guys rock with all black everything watches ? didn't see many examples like that in this thread
I usually avoid them because they are coated black which makes them easier to get scratched/damaged (PVD or DLC,.dlc is apparently more durable). And also they're not as versatile to me.

Damn, just stumbled across this thread randomly. Glad I did, as I’ve just recently got into the watch game and bruh, this shyt is dangerous AF. It’s mad addicting once you buy the first one. It seems like I’m always looking now to add something to the collection. Picked up my first Rolex as a bday gift to myself last month. Blue datejust. Couldn’t decide between that and the Wimbledon dial at the time. Ended up getting the Wimbledon dial last week anyway smh
I was never a fan of Roman numerals and like the look of blue dial, stick indices with fluted bezel but the Wimbledon dial is cooked crack :ohlawd:

Congrats

OK changed my mind from the Tudor lol
Submariner or Datejust? :manny:
I would go with Submariner because it's more of a tool watch, less dressy and has a diving bezel. But that fluted bezel on a DJ when sun/light hits it :whew:

Picked up a Robb Report in the airport for a flight this past weekend and that lead me to this thread. I read through this whole thread and y'all got me inspired.

My finances are starting to look prosperous so I'm going to go ahead and grab my first piece in the next couple of weeks to get into the game :blessed:

Gonna cop something in the $500 range for starters. I'll start looking into options soon and I'm excited about it.

I have a few Shinola's and they get a TON of compliments every time I wear them. They're right in that price range so take a look and see if you like any.

Thinking about making my first purchase a Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba with the blue rubber or NATO strap.
