It has to drop, doesn't it? Although everyone I speak to is saying Rolex won't drop no matter what. I just can't make myself buy a mass produced watch over retail, for me it doesn't compute even though prices keep going up.

I'm heated I didn't get a few Datejust 1601s and Turn-o-graphs for cheap couple of years ago. They're going for double now.

I hear ya man. That's why I have been waiting 4 months for my YM. Cant pay above MSRP.

they're a German brand, that mostly makes tool watches. they made clocks for the instrument panels in planes, and a lot of their watches get inspiration from that

Cockpit_Clocks.jpg

they make a lot of (modern) pilot watches and divers. their more expensive watches have proprietary tech like 'tegiment' (scratch resistant) steel, and oil filled divers (viewable at any angle underwater). supposedly they're used by German special forces, police, etc., and they have been to space

basically over-engineered German tool watches :manny:
Literally made the :banderas: face when i saw that pic. shyt is sexy. Not many folk fw the square face but lord :ineedmo:
Edit: hold up that's a clock :mjcry:

I ordered a Bulova Sea King. Not sure how it is going to turn out since it is a remanufactured showroom watch because i'm cheap. There are sellers on eBay who sell showroom watches at a discount.
It's got features that I like: diver style with spinning bezel, water proof to 300 meters, screw-down crown, sapphire crystal, and its a chronometer with sub-dials.
Good taste:ehh:

But, how can you not afford this watch? Don't you work? Even I have a shytty job and could afford these.:hhh:

getting lined up to get my
Longines.
I'm a quartz lover, I have a strong dislike for mechanicals and autos.

I love the high precision quartzs and I have a Precisionist from Bulova, the new Citizens with the +- 1 sec a year movements are too much for me right now, not looking to pay 20k.

So its the Longines VHP

trying to decide if I was to go white or carbon fiber dial
