Been seeing Sinn as of late and, after looking at their design, I am not too sure why. Yes, they are very simple and clean.

Can you share why they carry the prestige?

Personally, looking at the Bulova Lunar Moon....:whew:
they're a German brand, that mostly makes tool watches. they made clocks for the instrument panels in planes, and a lot of their watches get inspiration from that

they make a lot of (modern) pilot watches and divers. their more expensive watches have proprietary tech like 'tegiment' (scratch resistant) steel, and oil filled divers (viewable at any angle underwater). supposedly they're used by German special forces, police, etc., and they have been to space

basically over-engineered German tool watches :manny:

watch is dope. probably the most accurate (mechanical) in my collection, at around +4 sec a day. the lume isn't great, but the stark black and white contrast makes it easy to read with any little bit of light. the dial is a glossy black, which makes it a very deep/dark black. the AR is also very good, making it almost look like there's no crystal. however the AR coating on the outside is kind of a smudge and dust magnet

it has a display back, with a gold tone roter, blued screws, and other decorations that make it look pretty classy. the leather strap it came on was nice, but a little too 'dressy' for me (it tapers a lot). at 38.5mm it's smaller than my other watches, but the dial is about the same size since it doesn't have a dive-bezel like my other watches. overall I like how it fits me. my Steinhart has those long ass lugs, and kind of feels like it's just laying on top of my wrist. this feels more like it's on my wrist

the strap is from Crown & Buckle btw

:salute: Now you know you gotta show the display case back.:shaq2: I think this beauty screams for a tan leather padded with contrast stitching Hirsch strap.

SN: I think I have completed my "full line-up" (5 watches). I was searching & searching for a white dial, black leather dress watch and I came upon.... Seiko Presage SSA343J1 aka The “Ice Blue” Cocktail....

About to pull the trigger on the Tudor Black Bay 58 (i like it because its not too big 39mm) might put it on a black leather strap.

The 41mm Black Bay is way too big.

I've had my eye on the 58 for some time now, perfect size and thickness :dame: Didn't have a chance to try it on because Tudor is pulling the same shyt as Rolex so they don't even have it available in stores :beli:

The Black Bay bronze from this years Basel looks really good but it's 43mm and people say bronze doesn't age too well

Regarding bronze, I've had my eye on them for sometime now but, like yourself, they always came across as trendy and not for the long haul.:manny:

The Rolex SS models are insane!!! Imean the Batman is selling like double MSRP in the grey markets. No way a SS GMT worth 20k!
It has to drop, doesn't it? Although everyone I speak to is saying Rolex won't drop no matter what. I just can't make myself buy a mass produced watch over retail, for me it doesn't compute even though prices keep going up.

I'm heated I didn't get a few Datejust 1601s and Turn-o-graphs for cheap couple of years ago. They're going for double now.
