Can you please talk me out of spending 5k on a Panerai or any watch for that matter.

panerai is a solid cop... you'll always come within 20-30% of what you paid if you're ever in a pinch to sell it.. that margin is much slimmer if you cop on the secondary market too

you can only say that about a few brands... rolex, patek and panerai

Which one to choose? All around the same price on the used market. Explorer 2 is my favorite look currently but it's also the oldest. I'm also pissed because they became popular all of the sudden with these youtube character inflating their prices. Could of bought one for around 4k a year ago but now they get sold immediately at 5k.

I know my best move would be to just wait for the market to go down because prices are ridiculous now.
