One of the director's BIGGEST responsibilities is to get the BEST out of their actors.... that's why director's have takes and THEY choose which one is the best.

Give credit to a director for an academy award winning actors performance brehs.

You're not exactly wrong but strongly overstating what is required to have an amazingly performed scene. If you can't discern the difference between whether it's the performance of the actor, the writing of a character or scene or the space created by the director...much less be capable to see which is responsible for the performance then we will just agree to disagree.

Great movie, great soundtrack, and overall just amazing work. I stay watching this movie. I love this movie. He made a machine believe man...a fukking machine

breh took all of 15 seconds from seeing that explosion to going full speed at it like "nah fukk that.... i didn't do all this shyt for nothing.. we are going to save the human race or die trying"

exactly... he spent the entire first act of the movie showing how he truly didn't give two fukks about what's going on on earth.. to include his daughter

even the grandpa was like "yea your son will be fine with you leaving, just break it to murph"

son came out the crib like "yea that's cool and all, but can i get the truck"


he loved his daughter a little more, but not more than enough to keep his ass at home... even her crying and begging and pleading wasn't enough to keep him another 5 minutes... he was more excited about coming back being the same age and shyt



but on that journey he realized he fukked up... and was going to do any and everything to get back to her and make up for that shyt


it's like when you dealing with dating... you pat your son on the back, give him some condoms and tell him be safe and call if he need something


you got a daughter and you need to meet the guy, look him in the eye, threaten him, give him a rundown of what not to do, show him some guns, give him a time to have her home, call her 5 times that night, stay up till she walk in, and still not trust that nikka for the next 3 years

He doesn't love his daughter more, she was just younger and more dependant on him. His son was a young man living in a world where he had to man up early.

Didn't he break out in tears when he saw how broken/disillusioned his son was after his own child passed away?

Parenting or loving your kids isn't defined by which kid you give more/less attention to or how your relationship to them looks on the surface.

I liked the movie but it wasnt smart. People think its smart but its just grasping a abstract physics then just crudely makes things up at the end. Like a bookself breh? Word.

Ive seen people tie themselves in twists trying to understand a movie that doesnt make sense.

Beautiful movie tho. Watch it for the visuals alone
