You trippin. When he was only gone a few hours but 30+ years passed and he realized he missed all those messages from Murph and she thought he lied and didnt keep his promise
And then him finally seeing Murph at the end being 100+ years old.

You're confusing the performance of McCaughnahey with direction in those scenes.

I liked the movie but it wasnt smart. People think its smart but its just grasping a abstract physics then just crudely makes things up at the end. Like a bookself breh? Word

WhySo I just looked up Christopher Nolan on IMDB. He is doing a remake of Memento. At least they have him credited for original screenplay on it, don't know if he'll have any onset role for the remake.

This is why some suspect Cooper died when he went over the black hole and his daughter could only see him in the hospital because she was near death.And then he did not even acknowledge his grandkids AT ALL when he walked in the hospital room.
Not even a "Hey,hows my family doing"
And the family wasn't like "Hey great grandpa" or anything.They acted like they had no idea who he was.

Maybe. Not my theory, just thought it was interesting.
I think the movie was grand (hard to imagine a grander one), and nailed it in a few areas- like relativity (which is never touched in sci-fi movies), and the music. But there's a lot done wrong. It takes an hour to get into space. Love being the answer

I'm usually a fan of his work but that movie was terrible.
Incredibly unrealistic. Poorly written. And not well thought out.
I like to pretend he never did it cause I respect his other work so much.
Only thing I didn't like about the movie (especially in the theater) was at some points the music was so GD loud that you couldn't hear the dialogue. And that's coming as a fan of the soundtrack.
