My cousin and I watched this film together late Wednesday and wow! A great film. Zero complaints from me.

I think what’s flying over people’s head is these transgressions happened in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Most of us on this site were born by then. Johnny D got knocked for that in 1988. 1988!!!

Good movie.

Movies like these infuriate me I always leave in a fukk all cacs mood
Seriously got me wanting to raze Alabama to the ground.

The best scene was the DA telling him the "Mockingbird Courthouse" was one of their greatest Civil Rights historical sites. A fukking fictional story :mjlol:
Not only that but the story is about how fukking racist all of them are. :snoop:

Really really good movie. There wasn't a single scene that landed flat or felt unnecessary from beginning to end.

MPJ did a good job with the role, didn't overact or try to dominate like he could have, but played it straight and let the convicts shine too. I thought that was more powerful so it wasn't just a "savoir" narrative, but felt more like the death row inmates, their community, AND the lawyer all coming together for the victory.
