My wife and I saw this Saturday. It was a great movie and a hard to watch story that needed to be told. I see people saying they're tired
of these types of movies but this is about an ongoing issue that a great brother is still working on and needs acknowledgment and support helping the brothers still on death row.

I always hated that narrative about movies that are about the black struggle. Those who don't remember history are doomed to repeat it. We need to be reminded of these battles we faced and are still facing. Coretta Scott-King once said that freedom is not something that is won, it's something that you have to continue to fight for. You can't win today's battles of you don't know how they were won in the past.

About three quarters through watching the screener that just dropped. Definitely worth checking out. Like mentioned earlier, it reminds me of a time to kill, but with a black savior instead

Man I wish this was better. I like MBJ as an actor most times, but found him mostly unconvincing here. Came off like a kid acting like he thinks grownups talk and interact. The script didn't help, but man.....

Chokes up a couple times near the end. I agree with MBJ acting. I feel the same way with Will Smith and his dramas
Certain peope thrive in certain roles. Love Cube son. He knows how to pick roles. I think it.made a good case about the death penalty. Though i wish they showed the full impact fir a certain scene. Though personally Im pro death penalty in certain circumstances. Like that crooked mouth acting dude as well.
