I always hated that narrative about movies that are about the black struggle. Those who don't remember history are doomed to repeat it. We need to be reminded of these battles we faced and are still facing. Coretta Scott-King once said that freedom is not something that is won, it's something that you have to continue to fight for. You can't win today's battles of you don't know how they were won in the past.My wife and I saw this Saturday. It was a great movie and a hard to watch story that needed to be told. I see people saying they're tired
of these types of movies but this is about an ongoing issue that a great brother is still working on and needs acknowledgment and support helping the brothers still on death row.
