I believe it tho. AR and AP are all old white ladies at my job. Without a degree i don't think I'd get the time off day, even tho none of them have even an associate's degree. That's cool youd be willing to train a breh without experience or formal education, not that it's really necessary for the position. I didn't find many employers willing to do that before I went back to school. Now that I got my bachelor's, I wouldn't apply for anything lower than a staff accountant and exempt/salaried position.
Maybe try to recruit at a community college OP, that might be going too far out of your way
