Just got my wisdom teeth out brehs

How do you know when it's time to take out them wisdom teeth?

if you get regular checkups at the dentist, they take x-rays. the x-rays show if your teeth are growing in directions they're not supposed to be growing or if you have any extra teeth coming in, if you have cavities, etc.

Need to get this work done too... been putting this off for years.

I still dunno why its a requirement, Im fine...

unless you're in extreme pain, you don't have to take your wisdom teeth out. people go their entire lives without removing them. just be aware that over time there's a chance the teeth might strike one of the million nerves in your jawline which can affect your mouth movement, and can also cause infections and other unpleasant scenarios.

the procedure isn't cheap but if you have a decent job with a good dental plan you usually end up paying next to nothing.

But then I made the mistake of going to a bday party and playing basketball the same day.. passed out right on the court

Hated eating though with the gaps, had to use that stupid syringe to get all the food out

i did 2 at a time so it wasnt too bad. i was still in high school and had nothing but soup, yogurt and ice cream. having to constantly clean them was annoying tho.

Got all 4 of mine taken out a few years back. My face looked like the elephant man for 1.5 weeks.

Breh be sure to do that mouthwash or salt water deal they tell you to do.

I almost got what they call dry socket. shyt was no fun at all. Makes your breath smell like hell.

i used to be an oral surg tech and it boils down to this.. if u 25+ and them shyts aint hurtin you.. dont do it. the older you are the longer it takes for you to heal from it.

I got 15 percs. How many should I take to get a bit of a buzz? They are 325mg I think.

And I figured out they were impacted from an Xray at the dentist
