You know how phony these test are by having an habesha take it

If it says anything other than 100% black it's garbage
They would just say North East African with no cac admixture. I think my one of my cousins did the test.

Africans are now at least 7 generations deep in the US..so African Americans from various ethnicities in Africa have been mixing with each other for centuries..should'nt the results be a little more complex than what Im seeing here??

I don't want to discourage people from doing it, but please understand the implications of said act. You are voluntarily giving your genetic sequencing to be tested. Don't think it's not going into a database and being stored (accessed by law enforcement). In addition corporations are buying that information to make money off of. There's a term call "gene hunters", who go around trying to cash up off of that. You could have some genetic marker that could literally bring in billions for them - especially when marketed towards us. Not saying don't do it, just make certain you read the fine print and ask questions.
:wow:

Y'all fail to understand that data/info is greater than currency, and they are storing your genetic info for multiple nefarious purposes

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...gives-pfizer-dna-data-as-startup-seeks-growth

23andMe Inc., the genetic-testing startup backed by Google Inc., is sharing DNA data on about 650,000 individuals with Pfizer Inc., to help find new targets to treat disease and to design clinical trials.

The collaboration with Pfizer is the broadest announced so far in 23andMe’s ambitious plan to become a repository for humanity’s genetic makeup, and to turn data gathered from $99 saliva tests sold to consumers into multimillion-dollar deals with drugmakers.

Lol what? Africa has tons of tribes but many of these tribes belong to the same ethnic group. Chances are unless you are from a noMadic tribe or Arabs invaded where you are from you're ethnicity wont be that diverse as an african.

Africa isnt diverse linguistically and culturally only, it has the greatest genetic variation on earth..which is why I suspect some of these tests on Africa are not 100%..I know some smaller and remote tribes havent had their genetic markers noted and recorded ever!

My family from what I know has always been one of two tribes which are part of the Mande Ethnic group, the Mande ethinic group covers the entire Mali empire and they migrated to the coastal W Africa. From what I've seen every/majority of the tribes in Liberia and Ivory Coast are Mande tribes
