UC2 from the second you played had this feeling to it. As soon as you play the first chapter, you can see the masterpiece that the game is.
Then it just builds on that. The action, the set pieces, the characters. Everything is done in such a way that it's so hard not to like the game.
Then came the train scene, and that cemented UC2 as one of the greatest of all time.
UC3 followed the same formula and failed miserably. There was too much of plot holes, breaks in the storyline, action for the sake of being action, and just not as polished as UC2 was. You can clearly see that the amount of time spent in UC2 was not the same as in UC3. The game starts off flat, gets good, then falls flat again. It's like a bad roller coaster ride.
