Just finished Uncharted 3...

the cargo plane scene went by too damn fast, and we could have done without that huge chunk of drake just wandering around in the desert or the part where we find out hes been kidnapped by pirates i mean i liked that level and all but crawling through the wreckage of old abandoned oil ships sounded cooler than actually playing it

I dont know if any of you watched Uncharted: Eye of Indra but I really was expecting Rika Raja to show up in UC3. She's Eddie's sister. Cool character and would have been really interesting storywise especially considering Drake and Elena being seperated in UC3. Could have been funny.

but yeah I must admit I was more invested in UC2 but 3 had some crazy set pieces. The burning chateau, the ship graveyard and the ship(that whole part was crazy to me). When dude shot the window out the ship while it was already sinking I loved walking thru the desert too.

i was expecting something more epic in the desert though (like snake in mgs4 crawling through the microwave trying to survive), it was just ok to me... then another ridiculous chapter full of gunman those fukking enemies with unlimited rocket launchers = most annoying in UC

I beat Uncharted 2 probably about 4 to 5 times whereas Uncharted 3 I think twice. I also platinum'd UC2 and didn't for UC3.

UC2 is clearly the best in the series and one of the greatest games of all-time. 3 was definitely a step back, but was still a solid game, but couldn't help but be a let down after 2.

Most of you probably haven't played it, but Golden Abyss on the Vita was terrific. Better than 3 in my opinion. Maybe the second best in the series.

Man it's clearly no 2 but to be honest the second I found out half the development team was split to make The last of us and half to make uc3 i understood the falloff. Pretty clear the better half was chosen to focus on last of us.

All three got old to me. I finished 1 but I couldn't bring myself to finish 2 and 3. I don't understand how as Drake I would need to do all this jumping, swinging, crawling to get into the environments, then when I finally get to where I'm going there's 100 armed goons waiting for me why couldn't I just walk in whatever door they walked in?

Another thing that bothered me was the total disconnect between the story and gameplay. In the story Drake seems like a nice fairly normal dude, who cares about his life and the life of others. In the gameplay he turns into Rambo, and mowes down thousands of enemies.

I think had I played them earlier in this generation I would have liked them more, but after playing so many games this generation, and hearing about how awesome UC was, I was completely underwhelmed by the time I played it.
I hope naughty dog changes up the formula for Last Of Us.

I find it hilarious that people say this when 2 had no fukkin story.


Story was generic as fuk. If u were impressed by UC2s weak story then ur mind will be blown when u get around to playing MGS3 or Assassins Creed II

UC3s epic moments are huger and outnumber those found in UC2, is this not a fact?


The hand to hand combat in UC3 is superior to the simple sh1t that was in UC2, is this not a fact?


And the story is not even debatable, UC2 was ur typical treasure hunter generic sh1t, no different than the first game. UC3 went into the backstory and history of it's characters which made you connect with them more than u had did before.


I don't really see how anyone who has played all 3 games can say otherwise. Only thing that was kinda off was the pacing at the beginning but it is forgiven because its used to build the story.


I don't know if u folks are just giving honest opinions or just following what other ppl have said. Never underestimate the power of influence, especially on younger people. Its how trends start and the reason why many of u n1glets were running around with baggy pants, XXXL tees just 5 yrs ago and are now rocking skinny jeans and smedium v necks.
