Let's not pretend that mgsv isn't one of the best console ports out :francis:

If it gives him what he wants, then that's cool.

All I'm saying is he's a little behind the times. Ubi will kill him (I know, I know) and I really doubt games like the Witcher 3 are gonna run at ps4 levels. That's one of the most demanding games out. But you're right 1080p is a lot easier than 1440p all ultra or whatever. :yeshrug:

It's a good first build. I still think he'll wanna upgrade the card soon though. We'll see:yeshrug:
The Witcher 3 runs at 30fps on medium/high settings if I remember on my cousins rig which had a GTX 660 Non-Ti and a FX6100. Even the crappy Watch Dogs ran at like 35-40fps at 1080P on his system while PS4 was running at 30fps at 900P.

Of course if you're talking enthusiasts level PC gaming, a GTX 660 TI ain't shyt. Right now If I had to build a relatively inexpensive PC I'd start with a 970 at the least.

I'd like to see some receipts and settings, but alright :yeshrug:

Edit: I'd also start with a 970 too. That would be a great card for this build

Not bad. Not bad at all. Especially for that price. You bargained your ass off on all the parts.:skip:

Very upgrade-able also.:leon:

ITX :scust:

It's looking... kinda crowded in there breh I hope you don't have overheating issues. I would definitely send that power supply back but it's whatever at this point.

Congrats on your first build.
I spent years doing ITX builds and I'm done. You can't even SLI in those if you want.

shyt got ya boy looking like:wow: when this shyt got running. Building this shyt my self got me feeling godly.:mydamn:

Not gone lie..shyt had me frustrated ready to ship all the parts back. Turns out people dont recommend an mini ITX build for your first build. :snoop: I didnt know..I just like smaller builds. Took me a few days becasue I ordered a regular PSU and turns out I supposed of got a full modular PSU. Took me forever t o find a place for the unused cables :damn:. i finally did. Powered it up and it wouldn't come on :dahell:..I started googling and someone said remove one of the ram sticks and try. I did and it booted up so i installed windows. :blessed:. Turns out one of my ram slots had dust or presure from cpu on motherboard was fukking with the ram bank. I blew in it and reseated the cpu/cooler and both ram sticks work now. PC build in total cost bout 450-460.

GTX 660 Ti used on ebay for $90 plus $9.99 shipping. Accepted my best offer :ahh:
Zotac H67 Itx wifi 1155 motherboard for $50 new amazon.
Crucial Ballistix 2x4gb $34.99 off newegg on sale.
Silversone Sugo sg13 case off ebay $30.
Nzxt 120mm case fan $9.99 new.
Corsair 600w ATX PSU $39.99 refurbished newegg.
i5-2500 cpu used off ebay $95.
2tb 7200 3.5 Hard drive $50 amazon
Noctua low profile cpu cooler $38 off ebay.

Already got windows 7 and keyboard/mouse on deck. :jawalrus:

Before you come in and say my build is trash. Dont. :beli:

Lose that stock looking CPU fan. You need one of those custom build closed loop liquid coolers for a case like that.

Don't feel bad I've built like 7-8 PCs in my life and the one I built today is the first one to power on at first try.

I did get rid of the stock. The pictures were taken before the noctua cpu cooler came and before I redid the wiring and installed the GPU.

DOA parts. somehow the case touches the mobo. One mobo I bought on eBay and it's weird if it ever loses power you gotta keep turning it off and on over and over again to get it going. Sometimes needing to re-seat the heat sync over the processor because the temps are too hot.

I know the mechanics of putting together a PC very well but it's still a pain in the ass to do. On this i7 Skylake build I just did this is the first time it went flawlessly.
