So I've finally got around to watching this long ass video. Such a beautiful moment

Corny people standing around with phones. These are exactly the type of people that don't need to be around the culture and frankly, are just vultures wanting to be in the scene (while not noticing that they're fukking up the vibe).

I love everything about this video. Hip hop at its core is about the DJs/producers. I love how they (particularly Swizz) would rework the track into some crazy rhythm.

as I've told Coli posters before, you gotta put respek on Swizzy's name. He murdered Kanye in 07. What makes you think he won't kill Just?

Turns out it's on Ryde or Die Vol 1, which I never heard outside of the singles.

Swizz has a lot of misses, but when he hits, it's such a unique energy. Warrior music.

Rewatching part of the video again: Just Blaze starts out winning but somewhere between 45 min and 1 hour 30 min in, Swizz just smashes on Just. At that point it's over but drags on for another hour.

Swizz played more quality bangers in that set (almost twice as much)

Across their entire discog, the reality is that Swizz got more great beats than Just. Just Blaze got more 'decent' beats than Swizz given Swizz's crazy hit-miss ratio.

I think that just wasn't as much excited as swizz since he's been doing such battles/showcases for quite some time (tour with alchemist, various beatmaking showcases / sets on the radio...).

That's why I was more curious to see what swizz can bring to the table and he did it well.

Just wasn't going win regardless. Swizz's catalog is stronger. On top of that, Swizz's shyt is more warrior/battle/upbeat singles, which works better for battles. Just is more comfortable dancefloor shyt, and after he got away from that dancefloor shyt, he's mostly in album cut vibe.
