The difference between Latino voters and Black voters is the racial gray area for Latinos. Some of them still perceive themselves to be white so they don’t feel alienated by the undertones of racism and classism in the Republican Party. Black people know they are black and feel it every time republicans do/say something racist. Democrats is the default. It makes it harder to vote policy vs. ideology. Latinos don’t have a default party.

The whole ADOS/FBA movement to make democrats earn the vote would be much more palatable if Republicans ever decided to put a more moderate conservative without a racist past. But until then :yeshrug:

I don’t have a problem voting republican. I have in my local election. But I’m not voting for Donald Trump though.

I know a lot of Latinos vote whichever party gets backed by the Pope and the Catholic Church, which is usually Republican.

Many ARE white & if they've been here for multiple generations there is no reason to think they would vote separately from other white people.

It's almost like voter shaming doesn't work and you can't just select an uninspiring candidate and hope that the fear of trump winning re-election will be enough
to motivate them to vote for your candidate.

Let's not forget He was the VP of the deporter in chief's administration and those latinas witnessed their family members, friends, cousins, neighbours etc been deported in droves by Obama in record numbers.

Thanks a lot southern blacks and white centrists:francis:

I will wait till the results, Latinos have a lot of resentment towards Biden because of immigration under Obama. I still think they vote for him.
