Sorry to put this here, but I know nobody is really checking the stickied Seau thread and this is hugely discussion wrthy if true.

Do y'all think it's a big reach, or is it valid?

these guys get concussions pretty much every time they go out there. some big, some small but they all have a permanent impact.

I'm saying. At 500 concussions dude would have been a drooling mess. I doubt a human brain can take 1,500 concussions and depression would be the only side effect.

Ted Johnson was on the radio after Seau's death and said that in all seriousness, he thought he had hundreds.

They always referred to it as getting dinged or bell rung, and your head would hurt after, but no one thought of that as concussions.

We would get 'dinged' at least once a week in practice, and regularly in games.

He played a long time, with a lot of two a days, a lot of training camps and practices.

Cold be possible.

seau going out there with no helmet launching into dudes head first 100% of the time wouldnt cause 1500 concussions.

if his entire job was running oklahoma drill and he rocked no hat and faced only app-pros, he still wouldnt
