Like others have said, jumping rope isn't the best form of cardio (although it is good sh!t) ..I think running sprints is the best. I always carry a rope with me to the gym. I try to mix up running on the treadmil, stair-stepper and jumping rope for cardio.

Its not the best form of cardio but it builds incredible muscular endurance in the legs. If you can jump rope for 20 minutes straight and barely mess up, you have good cardio and excellent endurance, friend.

No it's not the best, it's not really intense enough for me to be considered best. The best for me is sprint intervals on a track, or hill sprints. Just doing em feels like you're cleaning out your arteries and becoming more lean right then and there.
All out spint, slow walk back for recovery, all out sprint, repeat several times.

Cant wait to do those when the weather gets nicer. What have been the benefits for u?

-You get more lean
-Your overall stamina increases, especially for "real world things" like if you're hooping or doing house work or whatever, this kinda stamina is better than jogging stamina.
-Once your body gets used to it you may get a bit faster depending on what else you do, or how good the quality of your workout is.

- word of advice, WARM UP before doing these. Make sure you do some jogging and loosen up them joints before you sprint. If you just go outside and do em while your body is still cold, you could snap some shyt up really easily.:merchant:
