My point is: Even though having great rhymes is probably the epitome of dope, it's never been a requirement. You have to nail beats and delivery FIRST before people will give a fukk about how dope your rhymes are. The greatest rappers of all time are like Juelz Santana - just a whole lot smarter. They have the package Juelz has plus more.

Juelz's rhymes are trash but you'd rather bump his music over Canibus or King Los or Slaughterhouse, etc.

I'm not shytting on people's tastes. I'm shytting on their hypocrisy, lack of critical thought and deliberate avoidance of critical thought. Clearly I think about the shyt I listen to and I wish others would do the same.
