I think gloves should have a fair amount of padding. Them hand wraps are hard. Trust me I have 11 amateur fights under my belt. We used 12 oz. I can't even imagine limited padding on front on 8 oz gloves. It's sickening just thinking about it. However "Most people don't know shyt about boxing"
