The Irony of this situation is that Castillo's defense has been better than Reid and Marty's offense so far, considering the offense constantly turns the ball and Castillo has only had one real atrocious game which was the last game.

Not shocked. The Defense blew the lead against Pitt and Lions, the Eagles should be 5-1. People have to understand how bad the Defense was last year under Juan. He should not have been hired to begin with. He's an O-line coach and that's where he should of stayed. As an Eagles fan a longtime I will forever have love for Juan, he's been on our team for a decade but he should not have been D.C., he didn't have the resume or experience. But I knew someone head was going to roll. Again The Eagles should not have lost the last 2 games, we had the lead in the late 4th. This D let Big Ben drive all the way down the field and they let Stafford score 2 TD's and a FG in the 4th/O.T. Which proves Juan doesn't know how to make Adjustments. It's sad that it's been 3 1/2 years since Jim Johnson died and we still can't find anyone to fill his shoes. That's how legendary he was. Again someone had to fall on the sword for that.

Juan didmt blitz the whole game and they contained megatron. He went crazy with the weak ass blitzes and megatron reeled off 100+ and lost the game with 5 minutes left and a 10pt lead. He shoulda been got thrown in the bushes

This. Yea, Vick turns it but he usually finished games well, the defense has been Swiss cheese. fukk being 12th in the NFL, you let the lions rush for 100+. To the bushes with him.

If Im the owner, and the head coach hired an offensive coordinator as his defensive coordinator, and it blew up in his face and was a colossal failure, I would feel COMPELLED to fire the head coach, as well.
I mean, it was YOUR (Reids) hire, so why shouldnt Reid be fired, as well? It was YOUR judgment that brought this guy in, it was YOUR experiment with him by the way, who the fukk EXPERIMENTS like that when they have a chance to actually win?
Reid is next. The only thing that will save Reids job at this point is if the Eagles make the NFC Championship game. I think anything SHORT of that and hes toast.

All I know is ATL is coming to a HORNETS NEST on the 28th. The Eagles will not be F*ckin around that game. Also why didn't JUAN BLITZ? The Eagles Defensive is know all around the league for being one of the best BLITZING DEFENSES yet we let Megatron and Stafford body us in the 4th? No pressure at all. Marty needs to be thrown in the bushes also for his hackjob play calling.

i thought the same thing at first but honestly I think Bowles was brought in to be groomed to take Juan's job they saw this coming...but this only happened cause spags went to the saints...
but the secondary has honestly been doing a good job when you consider that there is absolutely no pressure on the QBs its basically 7 on 7 out there we are talking about professional athletes eventually they are goin to get open when the QB has all day....if the d-line got to the QB more often there would be more pics and 3 and outs for opposing squads

we were lol babin and trent cole both were in the runnings for most sacks the whole season last season now we barely getting any touches on opposing QBs now and that bold is one of the main reasons we take this loss IMO i was paying attention to it the whole game and whenever we had him on him it was a sure bet that we had that locked up except for 1 play out of the whole game but it was a catch and tackle no more no less
So let me get this straight. You hire you O-line coach as D-coordinator and then fire him less than two years later when you defense is in the top half in points allowed. The fact that the offense aka Reid's calling card is at the bottom of the league in scoring and hemorraging the football is irrelevant I'm sure.
