Props To Mastermind For Shouting Out My Dude Derek Harper, He's Probably My Favorite Forgotten Knick, I Know He Identifies Himself As A Maverick But He'll Always Be A Knicks To Me, I Want Shump To Eventually Be A Pick Pocket Expert Like Harper Was

Harper's defense :ohlawd:

quick hands, strong. And he knew how to run an offense. I always liked that about him.

I Love Em Both But Im Partial To John, The Frustrating Thing About JR Is He Can Score In More Ways Then John And Be Less Effective

Starks Played With More Passion And Intensity Than Any Knick Ive Watched

He Works For The Mavs Bruh, He's Their Announcer, He's Only In The Garden When The Mavs Come To Town, And Even Then No One Acknowledges Him

I Remember Wen The Knicks Traded For Him This Dude Cried Cuz He Didnt Wanna Leave Dallas

I got love for JR, but Starks is my nikka... Stayed ready to scrap. Everyone wants to get on him for that 2-18 performance but forget that he was one of the main reasons we was even seeing Game 7.

We Didnt Wanna See A Game 7

Game 6 Was Supposed To Be A Close Out Game For The Knicks, We Was Up 3-2

and Patrick Ewing!!!! Is ALSO!! ONE OF THE GREATEST EVER!!!!

Get out of this thread.

Fuk up...

Yea and Starks game 7 2-18 performance will always precede his legacy, Starks admitted so himself.

:youngsabo:

EDIT: Also, Starks shot an atrocious 16% (3-18) in the game one loss of that 1994 NBA Finals, meanwhile in that same game Ewing scored 23 points on 38.5% shooting, with 9 rebs and 2 blocked shots. It's obvious Starks deserves the blame for game 1's loss and his HORRIFIC game 7's loss - Starks was GREATLY responsible for 50% of their losses in the NBA finals.

I agree, Ewing played subpar from an offensive perspective, however, to say he deserved the bulk of the blame while exonerating Starks for his disgusting performances in game 1 and game 7 is fukking moronic.

With that being said, in the Knicks final win of that series Ewing scored 25 points on 52% shooting, 12 rebounds with 8 blocked shots!!!!

Keep telling me to shut up or get out of thread, while I keep punching you in the muthafukkin face with facts.

:win:

And just as bad in game one, with a 3-18 shooting performance.

If Starks had just shot 30% from the field in game 1 and game 7, Knicks win the series.

pretty much, the Knicks took Dream's best shots, (I think Hakeem was MVP that year), and still had a chance if Starks knocks down a few more

The NBA on NBC were pushing the Knicks hard to win the championship too since Jordan had left.

But still Starks over JR, even though JR had a breakout year once he discovered driving to the hoop more :ohhh: , but he has to put in more work as a Knick, and time will tell that

apologies, my post wasnt calling Ewing a complimentary player.

What I was doing was shytting on his play that series.

dude shut up. Look at Hakeem's team. Look at that damn roster. The rosters were close but the Knicks were probably more slightly more talented. The Rockets had a worse coach too.

This cat is shytting on Vernon Maxwell as if dude wasnt one of the better perimeter defenders in the NBA during that time period, and also insane. You dont know what you talking about.

nikka shut up. Starks won them a few games late with big shots in that series. Ewing stunk it up. Shut up and stop :cape:ing Ewing. Ewing was crap that series and is the reason why they lost.

Shoot, that game 7 by Starks was an anomaly. You take that out and he shot 42 percent. Ewing shot 30% in game 6. The Knicks lots by 2 points. Starks killed it and damn near won the game on his own without Ewing.

Ewing was a very good player but got destroyed by a better one in Hakeem

For youngins out there as hard as it is to beleive Ewing was a pretty huge dissappointmet in the nba thast how good he was in college and how hyped the Knicks were to get him he was supposed to be a Bill Russle type then after the injury became a jumpshooter
