INVADING SOHH CHAMPION
Exactly.
Can't a young man make money any more.

NIL has also killed our concept of the amateur college athlete. These guys are getting paid. They are essentially pro athletes who get a paycheck and can also switch from team to team. It has also killed timelines for coaches. There was a time when coaches got 1-2 years to bring their guys in, recruit, etc. Now with the portal, if a new coach isn't bringing in 20-50 transfers to immediately become competitive fans want them fired. And if you bring the wrong transfers in (see: FSU) it puts you on the hot seat.
This isn't sustainable and is going to kill the game. I'm stunned there aren't any real regulations on this shyt. College football needs a commissioner. There needs to be basic guidelines on some of this shyt. If not we may reach a point where boosters/bundlers say fukk this and stop giving money. Imagine paying 5 star recruit six figures only for him to transfer after one season. That's insanity.
there's something to some of it but they always used to still attack college players. college football media some of the most toxic shyt since forever especially since we had the internet.
he deflecting from his own poor performance. shouldn't have done that circus shyt last year and just built the program up naturally with realistic expectations. he is a good coach, but the spectacle set them all up for what is happening now.
You gone address that last minute play calling?I watched Oregon VS Oregon State Saturday. I couldn't tell you what any of their coaches look like what their QB's look like what they receivers look like cause they rarely if ever cut away to their benches to show what any of their coaches or players were doing on the bench.
But when you watch a Colorado game, you going to get probably 20 to 30 minutes of nothing but them showing their bench. Every time Dion is talking to a player and it looks like an argument, they got a camera on it. Every time Hunter is stomping his feet and obviously upset about something...they got a camera on it...
So now people are mad at a person riffing at the media.. or is it because it’s Deion. I feel like if this was a top 10 coach like say Kirby or something, these words would be ok. Man this complicated relationship people have with Deion and coaching is something else, I can’t wait to see how far it goes. People literally turn in every week to watch him lose Even if he somehow loses his job in Colorado somebody will have to take a flyer on him because people are paying attention to him.
Yeah this 100%. There will definitely be a tipping point. I’ve never really watched much college football and I used to be a big college basketball fan but I just mainly stick to professional in both now. I know I sound like an old white man but the NIL shyt is even worse than free agency in the pros. Like you said what’s the point in paying this kid if there’s nothing stopping them from bouncing each year to the highest bidder. If I was a fan of a team I would be checked out. Why be stunned about it when college football and boosters had years to help solve the problem?NIL has also killed our concept of the amateur college athlete. These guys are getting paid. Oh now let’s have pity for the coaches who even before nil was revoking scholarships of players it’s so hard on them now. And if players wanna leave so what a regular college kid can leave whenever they want.NIL has also killed our concept of the amateur college athlete. These guys are getting paid. I mean talking heads have been hard on college kids so he definitely wasn’t all the way true on that. I used to work in Columbia SC and saw how they used to talk about them Gamecock kids locally. I just feel like people would accept the message more if it wasn’t Deion talking. People can feel how they want about it though. Deion def should just go out there and coach and try to get this team better though.Media has never liked outspoken black men.
But on the flip side, Deion invites attention and when shyt don't go his way or looks bad, he wanna play victim. Can't have it bowf wayz dog.

The product is fine. Players are leaving because they have better opportunities and also a lot of them coaches lie to get a player in they need to switch up their recruiting tactics be more genuine look at Texas players rarely leave even the highly recruited ones same for OSU. These guys aren’t gonna sit around anymore while coaches play with their future especially if they can make more else where. Very few guys have left after one year I feel like that is a fear mongering myth the vast majority of the guys I see in the portal are older guys. Nobody is transferring 4 times in 4 years either. The transfer portal and NIL is overblown. It’s mainly small school coaches complaining that players who are out performing the G5 level get swooped up to the P4 level when they would do the same exact thing in fact that’s why they want those players to stay so they as the coach can get a bettter job it’s disingenuous.I have no problem with kids being able to leave more now. I have no problem with kids being paid. But there needs to be some type of regulation or else this shyt is going to implode. I don't think allowing kids to transfer four times in four years makes any sense, for instance. A better idea would be that players can leave after a coach is fired or takes another job....but if the coach remains in place, the player has to stay for at least two years. That alone would improve program building so we can get back to some level of normalcy. It would also calm down boosters who are watching guys they paid bounce after 1 season, or even less than a season in some cases.
I just want a better product and for players to get paid.
Because they don’t bounce each year that’s a myth. Yall can’t even name players who are bouncing every year or every other year for NIL so idk why yall keep talking about this mythYeah this 100%.
