On the one hand with social media giving so much visibility, will give people more content to criticize.

On the other hand, a lot of people make money but it’s only a few people getting criticized.

And I think they are criticizing Deion more than all players combined. Cause he talks so much, and picks beef with them, bans them and talks like he’s Ali, MJ or Cristiano when he’s like in the bottom of the top.

NIL has also killed our concept of the amateur college athlete. These guys are getting paid. They are essentially pro athletes who get a paycheck and can also switch from team to team. It has also killed timelines for coaches. There was a time when coaches got 1-2 years to bring their guys in, recruit, etc. Now with the portal, if a new coach isn't bringing in 20-50 transfers to immediately become competitive fans want them fired. And if you bring the wrong transfers in (see: FSU) it puts you on the hot seat.

This isn't sustainable and is going to kill the game. I'm stunned there aren't any real regulations on this shyt. College football needs a commissioner. There needs to be basic guidelines on some of this shyt. If not we may reach a point where boosters/bundlers say fukk this and stop giving money. Imagine paying 5 star recruit six figures only for him to transfer after one season. That's insanity.

I mean the media was gon be on they ass regardless might as well embrace it and go back at em

This is a good test to see how his players will handle the pushback, cause this is what modern nfl is all about now, especially for his qb son

It was corny and goofy to attack college athletes. But even webber got a lot of smoke for his meltdown

And yes they should be criticize now. They pro’s. Making bank. Meaning they getting viewers off it. Its more business than upholding some moral code.

I watched Oregon VS Oregon State Saturday. I couldn't tell you what any of their coaches look like what their QB's look like what they receivers look like cause they rarely if ever cut away to their benches to show what any of their coaches or players were doing on the bench.

But when you watch a Colorado game, you going to get probably 20 to 30 minutes of nothing but them showing their bench. Every time Dion is talking to a player and it looks like an argument, they got a camera on it. Every time Hunter is stomping his feet and obviously upset about something...they got a camera on it...

I mean that’s exactly what Deion wants, hell he has his oldest son media team on the sidelines blogging the whole game

Deion whining is getting tiresome lol

💯

Dont nobody care unless you really making waves. 12 months ago Deion was literally the biggest story in sports. But with that comes the follow-through, and man do I never wanna hear about anything Colorado football related again...

Not even close. It's a big difference between having your media team on the sidelines taking video that you can edit it how you see fit and a sports network just constantly cutting to your sideline trying to catch an embarrassing or confrontational moment for hot takes and clicks.

Has their been any sportscasters talking about how habitual drunk Steve Sarkisian trying to get Arch Manning numbers up at the end of blowouts when Texas is already up by 30? Cause Arch got 5 touchdown passes in garbage time. Has anyone asked Steve why he throwing the ball with his backup QB when they already up 28 to 7?
