I hate Nate Silver, but this is how I feel about Hawley. I think he's too clean cut for the Trumpers.
I think they need someone more white trash to relate to
A law professor at Mizzou was going at his neck today:Hawley was my professor in law school. Had him for a 14th Amendment class. He changed so much from what he was at that time in the effort to rise in the political ranks. And this is just another example of that. Many of my former classmates, like me, are pissed at this dude. He was this way when he was attorney general of Missouri and along his way to running for senate. Everyone around the school knew he had political aspirations and was a recaclican, but he’s gone full trump which makes it worse.

He called that man a disgrace to the profession

ive always wondered that, because lyin ted is up in 24 too. can you run for your current seat plus a higher seat in most places?Given his track record of mentally checking out of his current elected position to run for the next highest office, I was expecting him to mentally check out in 2022 or 2023 to plant the seeds for a Presidential run, not this early. Does Missouri have any laws about not being allowed to run for multiple offices at the same time? He's up for reelection in 2024 as well; I know in 2016 there was an issue in Kentucky where Rand Paul couldn't be on the ballot twice because of a law in place in the state.
