Josh Brolin was a mistake as Cable....

Problem wasn't with Brolin, the writing was so thin he didn't get a proper background. And they have ways to make short actors look tall, they didn't do that here.

They didn't want to hide it, they flat out pointed it out and poked fun at him not being tall throughout the movie.

Hes not 5'11 (which is his bio height - a lie)

At the end he was walking next to Ryan Reynolds who was towering over him.

Dominio was clearly taller than him too.

He was at or a little shorter than the Indian guy - making him the shortest person.

The last scene at the end made it obvious how sort he really is. The writers made puns of his height so threads like this couldn't be made - but his height was definitely noticeable.

Especially after watching, Into the badlands, he pulls off the type of charisma that would work well in a cable and deadpool movie. Though Brolin was pretty good in DP2. They should have used different shots though
