G.O.A.T. midrange scorer after him it’s probably Dirk.

That Goldsberry shooting chart posted I don’t get it Mike only shot 24% from 3 in ‘97 and I doubt he only shot 50% at the rim even though he was slashing less at that point.

Easily, especially considering the degree of difficulty of the shots. Being a good shooter means more than being able to catch-and -shoot and run off screens. Being able to nail a jumper regardless of who is guarding you and when under duress is one of the most valuable skills in basketball. Not having a mid-range jumper is damn near a fatal flaw in a perimeter player, people just ignore it. But look back to the way KD and Kawhi were abusing teams with the midrange over the last few years when the offense would break down. Guys like steph and harden are considered better shooters than those two, but with a lack of a mid-range game they are prone to flaming out.

Nah.

KD himself is a better shooter than MJ. KD has the mid-range and the 3ball. MJ's mid range is GOAT but wasn't a great 3pt shooter.
Only time he shot well from 3 was when they shortened the line those few years in the 90s:hubie:
