I always use to give money to the homeless until one day I seen a dude who looked like a begger I would always see on my way to work. I look closer and it's the same dude walking his dog talking on the phone and wearing clean clothes. A week later I see the same dude at his usual post with a limp and his sign asking for donations. I swear I wanted to pull over and beat his ass on the spot for finessing folks.

If this hypothetical homeless person lacks habits to keep a damn fast food job, they’d lose the house as fast as they’d get it. Most of these people are their own worst enemies, with few exceptions.

This is kinda a joke thread so i wont get too serious here. But you should really listen to the freakonimcs podcast on this (ill try to find it). it might give you a more data/fact based view on homelesses and the underlying factors.

You might be surprised how difficult it is to keep a job as a homeless person. Getting to work on time, having clean clothes, showering, having a safe place for company material like laptops, etc.


Like i said, its a joke thread i know. But i volunteer with alot of homeless so i have a changed insight on this. Alotta homeless ppl u might never know are homless
