Are you playing on PC? If so mods can fix a lot of problems with Fallout 4.

Giving the main character a voice in Fallout 4 did kill the replay value of the game.
Nope. I don’t PC game. Never did, never will. :manny:

I barely play VGs nowadays. Still haven’t bought a current gen console. :ld:

I'm taking a wait and see approach to this.

If they follow the foundation Interplay created then it should be good.

If Bethesda has too much influence then this show will probably be trash.

It might be good imo. I'm sure they want to get back on the right track and get the bad taste of Fallout 76 out of their mouths. Them helping out on the show is a plus in my book. Amazon or any network could end up having this shyt look trash. They'll definitely need some help to pull this off.

It depends on how the Brotherhood of Steel is portrayed. If they are white knight heroes then this will be bad. If the faction is portrayed like how they are in Fallout 1,2, New Vegas, and in 4 then this may have a chance.

Bethesda and Amazon is going to include the faction because of the merchandise potential. You can see they heavily promote them as a secondary mascot to the series after the vault boy.

I'm curious if the series is successful will Caesar's Legion make an appearance. Based on lore they are very brutal, which is why I would have like to see HBO make a Fallout series.

If its set near the New California Republic then we'll probably see Caesar's Legion. If it's set on the East Coast we probably won't. Either way I'm sure The Enclave will be the main bad guys. They'll probably find a way to have a Trump-like human leading the Enclave.

I beat the first season will be a 8- 10 episodes of highly produced bottle episodes. They go through all the themes of living underground in a society stuck in semi-facist 50s America. Race, gender and wealth inequality will be highlighted as if the show was an indictment on "Middle America". Critics will love it, the Alt Right will complain, Fallot fans will be blue balled yet again.

The final 30 mins of the 1:10 hr finale, the surviving female main character will emerge from the vault. I say suriving because their will be a lower class uprising that inadvertently kills most of the cast. Maybe an experiment(s) gone wrong?....FEV testing????

Our female protagonist will be captured by the Enclave. End season. We later learn in season 2 that the Enclave orchestrated the whole uprising and wanted inside the Vault. Something something about pure genetics....white race...the Vaulters are great FEV candidates for the creation of the superior race.

If it gets a season 3 it will be Fallout in name only.

They don't need to follow a "story", just to be set in the world.
Most people watching this are gonna be gamers already interested in the lore. If it deviates in a bad way then you lose that built in fanbase. So then you're trying to appeal to the general streaming audience which could work but the history of video game adaptations aren't favorable with that route.

What I meant was, I don't think they'll use the "plot" from any individual game. We'll probably see A Vault Dweller, not THE Vault Dweller.
