Irrelevant book since guns/'armed resistance' didn't get the Civil Rights Bill passed.

The 'True c00ns' are Black people who think they need them and use 'White Supremacist' talking points to resist gun control.

Why do you think Gun Control will benefit Black folks?

Criminals don't follow the fukking laws. No matter how many stupid fukking gun laws get passed that won't stop people from breaking the law.

Liberals live in a fantasy world where they think they can just pass laws and bad things won't happen.
Question for you then...

If laws don't prevent people from untoward behavior (aka breaking the law), then why have laws?

To further extend that point (which you will ignore), If NY laws don't prevent people from buying guns in NY, then why are the majority of guns in NY not purchased in NY?

I know you don't have an answer, nor do you really care... you just wanted to impotently shout LIBERALS!!! in a post on the internet. Good job, man. You did it!

Who is the number one victim of gun violence in America?

And who are the one perpetrating that violence on those victims??

You know who it is and it ain't WS.

No, gun laws won't prevent that.

Yes I believe we should have laws. We have laws on the books regarding firearms.
Just because people choose to break those laws, creating additional laws won't prevent people from CHOOSING to break the law.
I said this before, when people break the law they should face consequences

The additional laws the pro gun-control side want are mostly cosmetic and are not effective.
You can't make laws to prevent all bad situations from happening.
That is what yall are basically arguing for. Again we have laws on the books regarding firearms.
If people choose to break those laws they risk losing their freedom or even their lives. What more do you want??

I would assume most of the out of state guns are brought into NY illegally. Those people are choosing to break the law if they did not acquire them legally, and those weapons have features that are banned in the state of NY.

If they have less access to guns, instances of gun violence will drop.

The people doing the murdering would still have access to weapons. They would steal them or get them from the underground market.

The regular non-criminal citizen would be at a disadvantage. Why would you want that?

But why? Why didn't they just buy those guns in NY instead of trafficking them in? Both are illegal, and according to you, laws don't prevent criminals from breaking the law... so why not just sell guns in NY illegally vs trafficking them into NY illegally?

Edit: I'm being an a$$hole... I hear what you're saying but I think you also hear what I'm saying. The assertion that laws don't stop criminals from breaking them is true, but laws absolutely have a deterrent effect, which is part of what I think you're missing.

Dude, I don't fukking know!! I'm not a fukking criminal. I'm not going to act like I know the reason people do the shyt they do.
I abide by the law. I don't want to lose my rights.

And what I always ask is what additional gun laws do yall want (besides stuff that won't happen like banning entire classes of firearms)??
Just making more laws won't stop these people from doing crime.

My position is the laws on the books are sufficient. There won't be a law that can address every possible negative scenario.

So just so I understand your assertion... you believe "the laws are fine"... and that mirroring NY laws in states with high gun sales would not save any lives, and even if it did, we shouldn't even bother trying at all since we can't eliminate gun violence 100%?

Did I get it right?

What dismantling of gun regulations has taken place?

I’ll wait

Edit: also he is just reciting the statistic that is meant to mislead you as if half of those numbers are self-inflicted suicides

These people think you are fools and here you are being foolish

I believe 80% of guns in NY come from Virginia and South and North Carolina.

A southern dude just got locked up in NY for trafficking guns

Edit: I see he mentioned NY also but yea he said GA,SC and FL I always thought it was N/C Carolina’s and VA
It's definitely VA

NO.

I agree with the overall federal laws. I think the gun laws in states like NY, CA and Ill are awful.

"and that mirroring NY laws in states with high gun sales would not save any lives"
Correct. mimicking those laws would not make a difference. Again the criminals are already breaking the fukking law.

They are not going to stop in the middle of a crime and be like "oh shyt I got a 30 round mag. the limit in this state is 10. let me not rob this fool because I don't want to get an extra 5 years for possessing an illegal mag".
In for a penny, in for a stag.

"we shouldn't even bother trying at all since we can't eliminate gun violence 100%?"

Yes we should try to eliminate crime and violence. We have laws on the books that prohibit certain people from possessing and buying firearms!! You act like there are no gun laws at all.

What you are proposing will not accomplish that is the point!!!
What laws do you want that we don't have now?
