I still have no idea what you said in your previous post.

I've always said that Machida is strong and has excellent TDD.
your stance in that thread was of the belief his strength/power at lhw was over played but its whatever yo

You saw the mousasi fight right? How many times did he tag him? dude was basically having his way with him and mousasi just kept plodding forward like he was facing dominiqe cruz. Now name a time at lhw where machida tooled a dude that much and the fight wasnt stopped or his opponent wasnt out of sorts in the very least

Lyoto has never had pure KO power to begin with. I dont understand why you are talking about him like hes always done that

"pure ko power" describes a 1 hitter quitter which i dont remember describing him as. It just stands to reason if he connected as many times as he did against mousasi at lhw the fight doesnt go the distance

Surprised no one discussed the q&a it was a hoot. Some really entertaining and darn right funny moments. Jones was in proper cocky douche mode, interrupting ppl, clowning fans and what not. Seems to finally be settling into his role as the ufc's biggest star attraction (i dont care if ronda gets movie offers) .There were times tho when i wondered if he was lit, seemed to be a tad too loose and slurring a lot. The homo part could've been really funny if they just lets it go after cormier made the joke about smoothering him with his belly but jones just ran it to the hole until it was like :dahell: is this.

I dont know if its just me but I just get this feeling there is a case of one upmanship going on here. Does any1 know how the fans reacted to all the fighters before the staredowns? Like was all the cheers largely for connor? I could imagine cormier/jones seeing the littlr guys staredown hearing the crowd erupt and thinking "how do we top that". I mean since when did jones start wearing shades in doors? We know connor does just saying. Speaking of which dude needs to tone it down a bit, hes got something there but his delivery sucks and the profanity is unnecessary, way too dana like

Machida's striking doesn't exactly fall within the 'conventional' range. He maintains much more distance, allowing him more time to react, and his strikes have less loading up on them, unlike muay thai or boxing, which highly emphasize hip rotation in order to generate maximum force. Notice how his best strikes are when he's annoyed his opponent to the point of bullrushing him, making his counters doubly effective. Prime example - Bader. He wasn't even touching Machida, so he basically said fukk it and charged. And ran right into that counter, which normally might not have knocked Bader out.
Saying he isn't strong and washed out is still reaching though.. Dragon can still do some damage - he's taken far less damage than others his age.

How many times has Moose been finished by strikes? Keep in mind hes been in there against Hunt, Manhoef, and other heavy highters. And Moose has fought at HW before. Not a good example. Weidman did not remember half of his fight with Machida. I think he is fine at MW and would be champion if he wasn't a slow starter

Like I said, I don't even think Mousasi has even been dropped in a fight, let alone finished by strikes. He's also faced power punchers in Lombard and [one of the best kickboxers in the world] Kyotaro.

One of my Judo coaches, Master Rhadi Ferguson, said Cormier will not only win, but dominate here. I have no other choice than to root for the Olympian.

Former coach. I trained BJJ and Muay Thai under Master Lloyd Irvin in Camp Springs, MD and he and Rhadi have a..... love/hate relationship.

But some shyt kinda went down and Rhadi doesn't fukk with ML no mo and I moved twice since, but me and Rhadi still keep in touch on FB. Rhadi quoted me in saying Cormier will win and dominate, I take that man's word for it.
