Somewhere tropic...
The shamelessness of the OP aside.

Now, this is the problem with cats complaining about the state of today's NBA and the 3-pt shot. Here we have yet another thread disrespecting Jokic, when he's keeping the elements of the game alive (post-up, midrange, physicality) that y'all supposedly want back in the league, but the only energy that y'all have for him is to downplay his game because of all the other agendas y'all have to fulfill.

Would anyone dare keep on disrespecting an all-time great big man from the 80s/90s like this?

As I keep saying - y'all don't really like hoops and y'all need to start being honest with yourselves.
As opposed to Giannis that does what?

*sighs* Lack of comprehension is an illness on this site

Slowly, for you: Jokic is shielded from criticism. A 3x MVP blowing a 20-point lead at home in a Game 7 would never hear the end of it, and there would be a "voter fatigue" narrative with him.
1. I still don’t know why the fukk you are talking about MVPs and game 7 in the same sentence.

2. He’s not Lebron, nobody cares about what Jokic did in a conference semi final that he single handedly got his average ass team to. Just like they don’t care about him winning the whole thing nearly single handedly the year before that

*Sighs*

Jokic has an NBA Championship and a Finals MVP, so he will get some passes and less criticism, especially because he still performs at an elite level during the playoffs.

Whether or not you would want to admit it, Lamar has come up short, some his fault and some the team around him. It's not an apples to apples comparison.

Allen was just voted the league’s most overrated player in the summer. :skip:

Being as objective as possible, I'd say the most criticized QB's over the past 5-10 years have been Allen, Mayfield, and Lamar (Rodgers, if talking off the field). I'm a big supporter of Lamar, but I can't deny the talent of Josh Allen and what he's done. He is probably the most feared QB to go against right now, and this isn't just an "in the moment" thing either.

I don't see how people think Allen is some media darling. He has earned his praise.

Lamar Jackson doesn't get stanned by sports media? :skip::mjlol:

Breh get WAY more attention and praise than Josh Allen. :why:

Jokic is underpraised if anything. A 5 putting up Triple-Doubles like Magic? :mindblown: He ought to be top 5 centers ever based on that alone, yet dude barely cracking top 10.

Lamar Drexler needs to stop folding like a cheap suit when he sees Patty on the field. As for Jokic we still waiting for Game 5 of the 2023 WCF because the Lakers were actually the better team in a 4 Game Sweep

And Top Trash Talker:skip:

He should also be an Oscar Award nominee for the way he acts when he barely gets touched.

That is my biggest criticism with him. He is an absolute tank that acts like he gets shot when he's barely touched, and flails his arms to exaggerate it. League needs to start giving 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalties for that garbage.

Both Allen and Lamar are black QBs, so they get my support :hubie:
