Ahh man first of all me and my fam just enjoy going to the movies, getting food and discussing it in the car so i was going anyway but now this flick was totally unnecessary and drawn out. As a film about joker it was trash and a slap in the face to comic fans who thought they was getting a joker movie but they also should’ve educated themselves on what they was going into and what the 1st was about. Now if this movie was Called Arthur and Becky Folie es Deux it would be a 7/10
Because it would be a psych study not a prequel to one of the most infamous villains in comics

The movie is not great. Not as bad as the critics are making it out to be, but definitely mediocre. Very slow, drawn out, and less grounded in reality than Joker. When I say that, I mean:
People that hated Phillip's very light use of the Batman source material will continue to hate this.
Harley's motivations don't really make sense. The plot twist ending feels a little forced.
I guess this is obvious, but please be aware that this a really dour movie. I gotta go watch RDJ quip his way through an MCU film after this and cheer up.
The idea that DoJ would let Fleck fire his attorney and represent himself when he's clearly cracked AND wear his makeup in the trial is outrageous and detached from reality, very jarring for a setting that's meant to be more realistic than DC's other offerings (Fleck's hallucinations notwithstanding.)
