What made them think a musical movie version was a good idea? The first Joker had a perfect ending. If they wanted to make a musical, they should’ve just had a Broadway tour, people who love those would’ve flocked to it, not for a movie musical.

The movie was good, if they wanted a musical they should have made the first one a musical as well. It’s not the joker we know and love so I don’t have a problem with letting this version ride out the way it did. It’s just a movie of a mental illness dude having to answer for his crimes and him making himself look grandiose in front of everyone and then it clicked to him that he still ain’t sht.
