NOT getting paid and not getting PAID are to different things..

are we talking literally or figuratively

true or not if he accepted weed and CDs as payment then he got paid... if they all got 5k then he got paid... did he PAID with a fat check after it blew up no... thats the difference..

It's a stand up. He's clearly making a joke about the low payment (5K I guess). I don't believe he actually got paid with CDs and weed.
