this show was dumb, would not have finished it if john wck wasn't on title. franchising the hell out of this amazing series. they did all the hollywood tropes that john wick tended to avoid.

1st episode was kinda fire. After that, it was somewhat of a chore to get through. Mel Gibson was comically bad. And the rest were just retreads of the movie with lesser (interesting) actors in their positions from The Bowery to the High Table representative. They should've took it more left field and tried to carve out something more different with it being so soon after the last Wick.

one of the things I don't understand about this show is why did they include a law enforcement element, when outside of the police showing up at john wick's house in the first movie after he killed all those dudes, they've NEVER shown up in this universe ever again until this show.

The Continental,’ a series set in the ‘John Wick’ universe, will not have a second season on Peacock.

“I think that we talked a little bit about season two. But I think the feeling is, if we’re going to have something on television in the John Wick universe, this Robert Levine version that we went out with, that we’re negotiating with somebody, is probably the better option for the ‘John Wick’ content in the TV world,” producer Basil Iwanyk told The Direct tinyurl.com/268cwyvs
