Wizards tickets are cheap as shyt though. Much cheaper than the Hawks. Let's be real, the Wizards aren't a poppin team.

When you're last finals appearance was '79 and you've managed to do the worst deals of all time consistently, people can't waste their time

Wes Unseld the GM was terrible

Abe Polin traded so much for CWebb just to trade him for old Mitch Richmond

Michael Jordan was a terrible GM which got him to play again. Only good thing is he cleared cap room.

Arenas picked the team cause of a coin flip.

Verizon Center was poppin when he was at his peak though.

But the hardcore fans know those last two years in the playoffs was fool's gold. The East sucked. Grunfeld bandaged the team with short sighted trades after botching picks.

DC just isn't a basketball city. They had empty seats at playoff games last year

Put that squad in New York or Philadelphia and the fans in these cities would support the shyt out of them
DC is like Atlanta, it's a Basketball playing city but it's not a local fanbase city. A lot of bandwagon locals who like players like Durant, LeBron, Curry and especially Kobe. These guys don't play football as much as the South but they are more passionate Redskins fans than Atlanta ever was for the Falcons. You also have a lot of Cowboys fans here too.

The Caps are extremely popular with cacs in North Virginia and DC in general. Just as popular as the Skins.

The biggest issues is your poor use of draft picks outside of Wall and Beal. I did like the Morris trade and it's looking like good value.

I like your Pierce squad. They were tough, relied on Pierce for big shots and play good defense. That was not fools gold. But the coaching was awful and your depth wasn't there.

Wittman got 4 years. It's unbelievable.

Grunfeld has gotten 13 years.

Leonsis has to be the worst owner. He and Joe Lacob became majority owners at the same time. Same type of franchises who weren't relevant for 30 years.

Warriors have drafted much better and many times right after the Wizards were taking busts like Jan Vesley.

I think Biyombo would be the perfect fit in DC. They also need to find a way to get a winning vet like Pierce back. I would try and sign Joe Johnson for 10 to 12 million. Someone that can score clutch baskets. Washington struggled at the end of close games last year often. Not as much as Atlanta but far more than the year before with Pierce.

This. Apparently he's not a fan of whenever he's in the area and ppl hit him up asking for favors and tickets and whatnot. Doesn't want to go through that all the time.

This kind of stuff just adds to my opinion of LeBron.

Lebron has probably done more for the people around him than any athlete in history. Maverick Carter and the whole agency, to tacma, rwtw, Tristan Thomson, James Jones and now Delly about be getting paid 8 figures a year

They were raised in different cities. Players from small towns show more loyalty than players from big cities or suburbs.
