They are going to have to keep Satoransky who is a RFA and find another serviceable PG.
I’m not a wizards fan but tanking next year is what they need to do. They could make the playoffs with Beal and some pieces it if they resign Bobby Portis for that they are done

Portis and Parker so bad defensively... they'd help the tank. Parker's $20M option is going to be declined by the team and Portis is also a RFA with a qualifying offer of like $6M.

Lonzo for Beal?

No :mjlol:

Knowing him he will try to rush back. Someone has to sit him down and tell he can’t do that.

You think he looks out of shape or that he just has more broad muscular arms/shoulders? He added weight but I feel like he did it to finish through contact.
The Wall weight issues are completely fabricated based on one picture just like the whole "Wall hates Beal" narrative. One of the main reason I'm sick of the NBA media and fans...

for a guy who's biggest strength was speed/quickness, might be tough to get back to being anything close to worth the $40MM he's going to start getting next season.

just gotta hope he gets the itch to be great badly while sitting out 1.5 years worth of games.

Wall (Achilles) not sure if he'll return next season

WASHINGTON -- Washington Wizards point guard John Wall says he is not sure whether he will be able to play next season as he recovers from a torn Achilles tendon.

Wall spoke to reporters at halftime of the Wizards' last regular-season game Tuesday night.

He said his goal is to return next season, "but whenever the doctors clear me and get to that point, then I will know."

Wall appeared in only 32 games this season, averaging 20.7 points and 8.7 assists, before having an operation on his left heel in January. Then he ruptured his tendon in a fall at home in February.

Wall said he will rehab his Achilles in Miami during the offseason.

The five-time All-Star was wearing a gray walking boot on his left foot and lower leg.

"It's my job to get myself back to where I think I can be," he said.
What can possibly go wrong?
