He talked how he felt based on what was said about the bone spurs that the original injury was worse than what was being stated....and his belief is that Wall won't be able to return until the following season....

Rich Paul doesn’t trust Wizards medical staff. Anytime Wall gets hurt he goes to Rich first after they kept misdiagnosing him. An infection setting in in the first place would have pushed his return back further. He probably ended up tearing it a bit after. I wonder who was monitoring his injury in DC.
