I'd really like to know why he didnt go to AEW. Or why AEW didnt want him. This would have helped fill out that roster. And they might as well had rebuilt the World Wide Underground on AEW. Just bring in Darewolf, or use Angelico in his spot.

probably a combination of money and the fact that not everyone is anti-WWE :yeshrug:

most wrestlers want to work in WWE over any other company regardless of what some fans like to think :yeshrug:

an established guy like Morrison probably got a $500,000-$1 million annual downside guarantee from WWE. he wouldn't get that anywhere else. not to mention the fact that he has already traveled all over the world wrestling for smaller promotions and doing what he wanted to do since leaving WWE the first time. mix that with him being 40 years old now and he's probably wanting to go back to the big show and make some more big money instead of rolling the dice on hopefully making money in AEW or elsewhere.

Id be willing to bet he's looking at his age and doing the "retirement fund" run.

and let's not forget, he is a product of WWE. he's had so much success in the wrestling business over the last 16+ years that sometimes a lot of people forget this dude won season 3 of Tough Enough all the way back in 2002-2003:pachaha:
